singapore flyer invited us for a sky dining experience last night. had the whole cabin to ourselves and we were served appetizers, main course and wineeee.. 

dinner for 2 apparently costs $200 and a private capsule costs $1500. food was great- I had cod but the beef cheeks were really good!

btw, thanks to those who msged regarding my last entry. I guess it was a bad week and I couldn't manage the stress well. didn't have enough sleep and there were so many things going on. am really thankful to those who showed their concern, esp colleagues who said not to be bothered by people who are unimportant to the company. how true..

ive learnt that u can't please everyone.. why bother with people who are meaningless to you?

it's upsetting to know that all your efforts and hard work are not appreciated and if people don't recognize it, you don't deserve them. better off without 'em I say!
have never been one to cry when it comes to work, but yesterday took it's toll.

but our stay in angsana bintan was awesome. service was top notch, it was truly a pleasant experience. highlight of the trip was the angsana spa (the best massage I've ever had), sponsored by justin ang (thank you!!!).

we had beach games like tug of war n had to build a raft of floats n bamboo poles. of course, my team won (ahem!). and we went on the atv rides and banana boat, which was fun at first but it wasn't fun anymore when we capsized the 2nd time. not easy to climb back up man!

that's what caused the body aches i guess, my body's not used to the vigorous activities..

was at attica last night for a site recce after watching love happens (pretty good btw, jennifer aniston is hot!.. but i prefer angelina jolie).

after some beers, champagnes n whisky drys, i was quite mabok n grooving to every song. almost banged the gents toilet when 'low' from flo rida came on to hurry the boy out.

perth was AWESOME! thanks to the boy who knew where to go and what to do. 12 days of awesomeness.. hahhah we practically drank everyday. it's $40 per carton of beer = 24 btls, which is $1+ per btl. coke/water is $2+.. might as well drink beer right?? we had 9 cartons in total.. muahaha..

anyway, we got our flight (on jetstar) for $300 each. thought it was super cheap till the lady next to us said she got hers for $160! basket.. but no complaints la, 5hrs went by without any trouble.. just a sore bum.

went to batam for the weekend recently. no agenda, just to getaway from the social norm and drink, chill, drink, eat, drink and drink. the ferry ticket was $45 from tanah meral ferry terminal and it took abt 45 mins.. which was mostly spent sleeping (see below). so glam, love the subtle mouth open look justin!

bought a lot of beer from the batam ferry terminal. can't remember how much it was but i know it was hella cheap.. prob $1 a can? we also had 2 btls of johnny walker and 5 of us smoked menthol so we shared a carton which was abt $20. WE WERE ALL SET MAN!!

we stayed at nongsa point marina and the lobby was impressive! looked pretty high-end, there were yachts parked outside all.. denny booked us a 3 bedroom villa for $330, usual price $450++ (great job den!)

spent the afternoon by the pool area playing drinking games. there were 3 of us girls. it was a tough fight but we persevered and won the boys NUMEROUS times.. ha! here's evidence- they had to light up our cigarettes for us as penalty. we girls rock! muahaha..




we were drinking again on sunday.. so much for refusing to touch another drop of alcohol the previous night haha! we still had alcohol left and the beers were on sale! might as well right??
donzie n kenneth celebrated their birthday recently at MACDONALDS! ha.. they're over 30 but i guess, you're never too old for one! we played games like dog n bone and caterpillar, haa.. the host was very patient with us though.. apparently we were worse to handle than children!


im back from hanoi!!!!!

went with ade + silver last thursday to visit gwen. she's working there now and has her own apartment so accommodation was covered. she even bought towels, toothbrush, toiletries, cooked spaghetti for us! and stocked up a fridge full of beer!!! freaking awesome host man.. she rocks la.

traffic there's mad crazy! cars n bikes coming from different directions and they honk all the time!! it's like they're communicating or something going "HEY HOW ARE YOU??? HOT DAY ISN'T IT!?" and the other cars join in the conversation too. wah lao eh.. noisy sial!

but i somehow mastered the art of crossing the road. just keep walking, DON'T STOP. they will just drive around you.. i'm quite 'zai', i must say hahaha.. maybe i can consider a career as a 'hanoi-road-crosser' n demand tourists money to bring them across the road. not bad leh.. each person US$1 for barely 1 min. i'll include insurance, guarantee safety and.... an experience of a lifetime! how, any takers??

we took a 1 day trip to halong bay and it was an 8 hr bus ride to n fro in a 'lok kok' bus.. butt super pain sia!

i'd suggest taking a 2day trip instead so u stay overnight in the junk boat and travel 4hrs in the bus.. and request for pictures of ur bus to make sure they are well maintained. ours looked like it was gonna breakdown and the aircon wasn't working well so it was SUPER HOTT and the seats were falling off! and it was supposedly first class. first class my painful ass ah!




halong bay was pretty nice as we got to cruise on a junk boat n pass by fishing villages, islets and walked in the cave.. but our tour guide fucking slack. fucker never wait for us and thinking everyone was ahead, we walked thru the 2nd cave (which we weren't suppose to) while everyone waited for us on the boat. so paiseh.

we were lucky we had gwen to bring us around for cheap massages, facials and awesome foooooood. she brought us to some vietnamese restaurant. i'm not a fan of vietnamese food but it was pretty cheap and good!




Today, I rode my bike to work. While biking on the road, I gave a hand signal for turning left. A car passing the opposite way veered towards me and attempted to give me a high five. I now have cuts all over my body and my bike is in two pieces.

i surprised the boy with a trip to phuket last friday. told him we're gg 'skydiving' so i packed his bag for a 2 nights stay and settled the arrangements at work. he didn't suspect anything, was pretty curious but knew better than to spoil it by finding out.

planned everything swee swee. even wrote down 'changi airport terminal 1' on paper for the taxi driver and the boy was to be blindfolded till we reach.

BUT THE TAXI DRIVER READ IT OUT LOUD "OHHH CHANGI AIRPORT AH?!!" wah lao eh.

we took air asia which i think was pretty cool. slight turbulence, not much ear pressure.. it was good enough for the price.

justin recommended booking the hotel stay at phuket airport itself so we did. bargained for a stay at burasari resort to 2,000baht (website price states 2,800baht so we saved abt S$40!) but had to arrange for a 45 mins cab ride to the resort which costs 500 baht.


burasari resort fuckin rocks!! we were upgraded to the premiere room and it was super nice! they even had complimentary beers la.. how awesome is that?!!

the jug of beer costs 170 baht which is S$8!!!!! haha fuckin shiok man. we were only there for 2 nights, didn't have much time to venture out so stayed ard patong beach, bar hopping along bangla street! hahah


i miss smoking in bars/clubs! those were the days.. ha. this was taken at suzy wong where there were topless dancers dancing ard poles. some were quite HOT leh!

we came back to this! hahaa they prob thought we were on honeymoon. pretty sweet eh?

sabai beach restaurant (along patong beach) had awesome prawns with garlic n pepper, green curry n fried rice. best of all.. the jug of beer which costs 170 baht came with frosted mugs!!!! wahahha..

it was scorching hot in phuket man. the boy was frustrated coz we walked past a shop that was selling redbull singlets for 100baht and he got his for 150baht. hahah kena cheated!

this was on valentines day at zirca. he went up to the dj console n pretended to spin with DJ Solarstone! was damn scared the bouncers were gonna carry him away la..

it's taking forever to grow man. had it cut short in dec n it's still the same length. but i had to cut it la, my hair was badly damaged. it was highlighted, permed n straightened. it was like nimbus 2008.

travelled quite a bit. went to hongkong, macau and to bali twice! hongkong n macau was great -shopped n walked alot, had the best dim sum ever, got drunk gambling in macau alone.. quite a story.

shawn (big bird) chen got married so we had a bachelor party at YUE, on the same day as 987 RSVP @ MOS. it was still MOS then. yes, this was in sept '08.

adeline's friend, sam had a room at swissotel with a superb view of the marina bay so we got to see the ndp! we were on the 51st floor and got to watch the singapore flag fly by, the red lions free falling, the black knights zooming past and of course, the fireworks..





it was a pretty awesome sight.. wasn't too impressed by the performances on-site though (watched on tv). there were a group of performers that looked like teletubbies and the lion dance was quite nonsense la..

john was on-site doing rovings and getting soundbites. i just heard his last roving, it's really good leh.. better than mine! hahha
did u know that t2 has this really cool area where u can watch movies, listen music, play lan games and a smoking area with a nice garden? i didn't know abt it la, jensen brought us there so we slacked there for while before boarding.

the past times, i've been waiting ard at the gate for boarding when i could have watched movies, play lan game.. etc. it's just above starbucks.. shiok leh! beats sitting ard doing nothing..

john sent me off so we had dinner at some korean restaurant in t2. that one not shiok, not nice at all man.. they claim it's fresh but can tell the beef's frozen. chilli not nice.. the only good thing was the soup and even that, i thought was so-so only.

we reached KL at 10pm and transport was arranged to take us to genting. journey was abt 1 1/2hrs and i slept throughout.. was super tired. checked in to resort world hotel and i was awake! so we gambled!

i played pontoon (blackjack) and lost 4times in a row.. basket the dealer super lucky la! so i played baccarat and won 200ringgit! yeayea! minimum bet is 25ringgit. we were there for abt 6hrs man hahhaa

next day, we had some free time before interviewing leona lewis and the script so we walked ard the indoor theme park and went for a fish spa! it's where u put ur foot in a tub of fishies and they eat on ur dead skin. i chose the bigger fishes.. more worth it la..

jensen don't dare put his feet inside the tub with the big fishes.. WEAKK! it was painful at first but u get used to it after awhile.. it's the same price anyway so might as well go for the bigger fishes right?

didn't have much time left so we went for the indoor themepark rollercoaster ride. it's for kids la.. cheap thrill only. here's connie and celine from sonybmg who sponsored the trip! :)

didn't get to interview leona lewis coz she fell sick in tokyo and was saving her voice for the mtv asia awards performance.. but we got to meet her! i think she looks better on her cd cover though..

went for john's soccer game once i reached, had a nap and then SINGfest! muttons were hosting so we were backstage where there were lots of food n drinks! jason mraz, rick astley, melee and the pussycat dolls were walking ard but i don't dare take pics leh..

the crowd was massive! have never seen fort canning so packed before.. we were at the nokia tent dancing to the pussycat dolls and drinking free beer heheh but left during alicia keys' performance.

can't wait for the next SINGfest!
i'm leaving tmr evening for the mtv asia awards! flight's at 8pm to KL and then transport up to genting. staying at resort world hotel.. am gonna gamble gamble gamble!! haha

we were at this restaurant bar, twenty-six at big splash waiting for don & family to arrive for his surprise bday party. mark arranged everything and even paid for the bill which costs $5k! that's brotherly love man.. think he was overcharged tho coz there were abt 40 of us, not possible for everyone to drink at least $100 each right?

was at mambo last wed for their anniversary but missed the dance-off coz we were chilling at kandi bar for their $5 drinks (1 for 1 for ladies) and only got there at midnight.. super packed la!


went back at 5am and was up and sprightly at 9am for a school visit at westwood sec. work hard and party hard i say! was kinda stoned later in the evening tho n couldn't meet the elites for dinner.. sorry babes! will make up for it.. miss ya'll much!!

when we finally got to wine bar, they were all seated near the entrance but ade didn't notice them so i pushed her from behind and shouted "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" she was really surprised~ yeayea!! *pats yanie on the back






[comfortspace] HelioAsia invited Muttons and I to their spa in Paragon. they treated us to their deluxe package and we had a choice of a 45mins aromatic, shiatsu, royal thai or tui na massage and another 45 mins of massage, aromatic touch facial or foot reflexology.. it was damn fucking shiok la!

we dipped ourselves in the hot therapy pool first and then to the sauna and steam bath before relaxing at the recovery lounge and then to the massage room. the therapists were really good man. I went for the shiatsu and swedish massage.. had knots on my back and the lady managed to untangle them! amazing la.. it was kinda sore after but my back didn’t hurt much the next day..



food was provided and we had salad/soup, main course and dessert/fruits. I had the crab salad, tuna sandwich and chocolate cake.. shiok! it was the life la..

btw they’re having a 30% discount and should cost abt $120 after. damn worth it la, i’m definitely bringing john to my next visit!
john's secondary schoolmate telly, got married recently to valerie (whom they call tubby so it's tellytubby.. geddit?) and the wedding dinner was at suntec convention centre on 7 june.

weddings have always been emotional for me.. i teared when they made their entrance, during their speech.. it was all very touching la. the whole entourage was there too so it was great to see all of them together for a special event.

it was telly's bday as well so it was a nice surprise when he walked in and everyone sang a birthday song..




justin ang's wedding next on 5 july 2008! their wedding invite is damn cute la, it's of shrek and princess fiona.. can't waittt! eh i haven't buy dress yet, shoot!
fhm gnd finals at st james powerstation 30 may 2008, almost a month ago! haha i finally posted the pics on facebook as well, hehe..

it was a pretty good event! muttons were hosting, free drinks, babes in bikinis, male models in trunks.. shiok! we were cheering for gnd nos. 3 and 10 but they got 2nd and 3rd respectively and no. 8 won the title of fhm gnd 08.






event lasted for abt an hr and we moved to movida after. john left early coz he had work the next morning so i walked him to the carpark and he accidentally stepped on my slippers n the strap broke!

so i wore his size 9 converse shoes (i'm a size 6) instead, hah! it was HUGE on me la.. had no choice, i wasn't gonna go home! not many pple noticed, so it was good..

went to MOS after that and left without finishing the 2 jugs of whiskey soda i bought coz it was suuuuper strong.. we prob drank like 1/10 of it. quite wasted but i was quite mabok alr so nvm la.

had supper at mohd sultan and barry called to say he was gonna join us. he didn't go wit us to mos so we waited n waited but he never arrived. called him a million times, no ans. so we decided to go back to st james to look for him and we found him at the motorcycles lot like this...

super funny la! we wondered why he didn't pick up his phone so we called him and his phone was ringing away and he just sat there stoned. got a cab and they carried him home.. lucky we went back to look for him ballz.

he couldn't remember much the next day.. but had some photos in his phone with some 'chiobus'.. hahah haps leh!
