we brought kim's cousin from perth (mel) to the gigolo bar, club trustz.

quite cheap the drinks.. it was $35 for 2 jugs till 1130pm and at midnight, ALL the guys will come onstage with number tags for you to choose.

how to choose a guy just based on looks right? if they had boy band performances like at sabai sabai, easier to choose! we got a guy for mel and he was from thailand I think.. quite cute.

naughty girls after was damn haps la. some random dude bought me a waterfall n the music was awesome so I went a little crazy on the dancefloor.

go on a weekday night if you wanna, not too crowded. if the live band's not performing, there are about 15 girls dancing on poles, including angmohs.

and if you're hungry, there's awesome beef noodle at jane thai (4th floor) and tom yum at 3rd floor, near the bridge. HO SEI.

goodbye 2010..

the year started bad for me.. but it turned out well after all. i believe everything happens for a reason and i'm glad things are how they are now. in a nutshell- i changed job, moved to ubi, had the most awesome birthday party and the best christmas ever.

and i have my friends to thank.. through the year, friendships have grown and (a hell lot of) new ones made. and it was them that made the year from barely bearable to a rocking good one. i am soooooo fucking grateful to have them in my life.. coz this girl wouldn't have survived. they saved my life..

IFC is over!!!

and i kinda miss it. the adrenaline of being on top of everything- it's bambambam and u're always on the move.. good to have this challenge once in awhile.

the riders are a great bunch of people too. they're more open on their affection, generous with their love yous and like to hug ALOT! was kinda wary at first but after awhile u just succumb hahah and they're damn funny la!

the only bad thing that came out of the event is that my body's a mess and I've never looked so haggard. went for a massage 2days ago n my masseuse said i've a 60year old body. :( and i finally have time for a facial tonight.. maaajor rejuvenation needed.

a holiday would be great tooooo! :D

R brought me to TAB at orchard hotel. really nice place for live performances and best of all, they have kronenborg! they had chris cope from new zealand to perform that night, followed by local band "ugly in the morning". the lead singer so cute la, I want to hug him.

met chellelalala there, so good to see her!! <3 and keith was really nice to host, feeding us with beers, whiskey, tequila and champagne!

went to zouk to meet the rest and I was confused. was zouk playing r&b/ hiphop and phuture, house? what's gg on!? zouk was hella packed so we moved ard to velvet, phuture and went back to zouk.

the TAB crew joined us at zouk, R was buying too many beers, NZ guy jumping ard (too much energy man).. quite the awesome night. can't remember what time I got home but I missed brunch at 12pm. wooooops~

dinner at shar's- her mum cooked crab, prawn, duck, mushrooms and noodles. so GOOD. i missed home cooked food...

it was diane's bday so we met up at suntec for coffee (oh and I had curry for dinner! wah lao the thought of it makes me want to go again). haven't seen them for 2 years so we had alot of catching up to do.. esp with E, the ex bf I was with for almost 4years.. nostalgic much?

i went for my first muay thai class yesterday and learned how to punch, kick, knee and dodge. pretty good workout and it was actually fun.

the people there are really nice, friendly, cute and have good lean bods.. i likee! and I met a really old friend, a sec sch crush.. what are the odds?

it's been more than 10years.. really good to see him again n catch up. he still has the letters I wrote him.

we used to take the same train to sch or meet at far east after to pass each other letters.. how innocent! haha

it was butter's 4th anniversary, justin's birthday n out with colleagues day. so not only was it free flow.. there were btls of chivas, mccallan, moet, jugs of beer n jäger bombs.

just the other night, we stayed till 2am to ride n had many many drinks prior. in retrospect, not a good idea at all.. was high, got daring n was doing all kinds of stunts. and I mean stupid stunts like running across the flowrider n falling all
over the place.. hahah it was really fun though.

but my body ached like a bitch the next day. couldn't move my neck and everyone would purposely call me from behind..... assholes. (haha)

tza turned 27 yest!

known her since pri sch as we shared the same school bus and as a prefect, she was always reminding me not to play in the bus coz it's 'dangerous and i might get hurt'. she was super soft spoken la! she'd threaten to book me in the sweeeeetest voice but never did so we were cool and got close when we were in the same class in sec 1.

when i left track&field n needed an eca, i joined basketball since she was already in and got closer since we stay nearby n went for trainings and competitions together. used to play alot of games on the bus.. we'd wave at random strangers and laugh at their reactions. super funny!!!

tza is the nicest girl i know la. like seriously. her only problem is she'll ans ur call or message 2 days later. can never put her as my emergency contact man, i'd be dead by the time she gets back to me. haha no la she's always been there for me..

finished work past midnight on saturday from city alive, where we provided the alcohol booth and gave away VIP memberships. music was pretty good and there was a good crowd.. but popeyes seemed like a better option then. (am getting old.. fuck!)

after satisfying our tummy, jeff n mario joined me at race's place for drinks n beer pong. btw jeff is manager of the wave rides and mario is our very talented designer. FYI- wave house is a franchise from San Diego, so they're here to share their expertise with us.

so it was me n jeff vs mario n random girl and they won. random girl was obviously high but she was damn good la, basket. mario was useless hahaha and for the record, we only lost by 1 glass.. ha!

gonna add beer pong to my field of interests on facebook. haha it rocks la. coz even if u lose, you drink. how awesome is that!?

trivia night at krish

shan hosted a trivia night at krish so we all came to support. it had different categories, each with 10 questions n some were really really hard!

we sucked badly in the sports category man.. super FAIL! it was me, rozz, soo, gen, and the only 2 guys were don (a musician) and talib (rozz's friend who doesn't look like he's into sports). don't even know how we got 2 questions right..

but we got 2nd place in total!!! hip hip hooraaay~ we aced music n "guess which country the coke btl is from" category. muahaha.. the first team was leading us by 7points though, and they won themselves dining vouchers and a btl of wine. booooooo... -sour-

it was hella fun. drinks were cheap at happy hr, food was good (try the roti john, pork belly burger and murtabak) and the company, even better. they're having it every wed now at 830pm so grab a team of 6 and take part! something different for the night out with your friends. :)

we had over 100 different stalls in wave house for the weekend selling clothes/bags/shoes/accessories and I couldn't resist! bought 5 dresses, a t-shirt, eyeliner and a bag for $84!!!!

there were lots of awesome finds.. and I didn't have to dig coz the clothes were on racks and nicely displayed. most were brand new too!

only knew about it last wed so I didn't have much time to help publicize. we could have made it alot bigger if partnered with sentosa. nvm.. next time!!!

air crew people are so lucky. they get to travel, get paid alot.. and they've got so much perks, it erks.

at WAVE HOUSE Sentosa, they get 1 for 1 on FOOD (the pizzas are awesome, like really really awesome) DRINKS (happy hour for the whole day!!!) and WAVE RIDES (u can share with a friend or have 2 amazing whole hrs for yourself).

everyone else however, only enjoy 1 for 1 on wednesdays. but the wave rides are booked fast! came in at 10am n it was already booked till 3. a friend came at 3 and it was full till 10! no advance booking though, unless you pay upfront first.

tried wave riding 2 sundays ago n totally embarassed myself when I was wiped out n my top fell off, flashing my boobies to everyone at wave house. and they tried consoling me by saying it happens all the time.

so yeah. if u wanna see some boobs, have awesome pizzas, cheap drinks n ride the waves.. you know where to go!

had so much to drink that night. was at brewerks since 6pm, zirca for the showcase, back to brewerks and then to o bar for $12 jugs. i was hogging the pool table, making bets with other players and lost. i think we spent 10 mins trying to pot the black ball in coz i suggested to double it and kept missing coz i was kinda high and he was obviously letting me win.

oh and i don't understand why slippers are not allowed in o bar. like wtf? zouk lets us in with slippers la!! stupid.. *grumbles*

had a huge ass hangover in the morning. i really think it was the cheap alcohol from o bar. absolutely felt like fuck... was downing panadol extras and puking them back out. but i somehow made my way to vivo city to meet terry, sit through a meeting at wavehouse and walked around resorts world. i know, i'm awesome.

and i went home straight after and passed out.

i love love love the garlic shrimp pizza there.. shiook to the max! their happy hr was 3 glasses for the price of 2. not very happening la.. so we left for nana since wenzhi had a bottle there. it's damn different going at 10pm and 4am la.. only 3 tables were occupied. at 4am, you'll have to squeeze your way around.

we found an awesome place for drinks, the rooftop of helipad at central. it's breezy, amazing view overlooking clarke quay and it's 1 for 1 till 9pm! a mug of beer is $6! w0ot~ alot of points go to the place la, it's a nice setup to just chill out...

went to rebel for the $98 chivas and somehow stayed till 4am. sani bought another bottle and paul bought us 151 shots. the night ended with sani not being able to feel his cheeks (but 3 handphone numbers) and wenzhi making friends with the table next to us. i was starving to the max and staggered my way to the coffeeshop near my place, alone. how i found the courage to walk around my quiet lil' neighbourhood, i don't know. but i made it back home safe, finished my nasi lemak with fried chicken, nugget, fish fillet with a lot of chilli, showered and passed out.

and i find out today there's been 2 stabbing incidents in yishun, where i freaking stay!! psycho stabber has not been caught yet.. his victims were brutally stabbed in the face, back, hands, arms... fark man. time to unleash my karate/judo/taekwondo moves!!

went for the media preview of legion at suntec few weeks back. saw the trailer before that and it looked really impressive! was actually looking forward to it...... but it sucked. it was soooo bad... the only cool thing about it was probably the lead actor la.. he's cute and quite stylo. those bad-ass type.. i like!

rozz held a party at cupid jewel store, orchard central on friday~ her brother ryan and his friend anders were spinning and we had free flow of champagne and small bites.. the store was huuge, it's their 2nd store in singapore and their biggest, showcasing a variety of jewellery... of which none i could afford.... bah!

i asked how much a plain white gold ring costs and it was about $1-$2K. yikes! but i saw one, really pretty solitaire-like with small diamonds on the sides for about $4K. gorgeous!! but then, i'd never spend that money on jewellery, rather get a bag!

another place is NANA @ central mall. we're usually there when zouk closes, a good place to go when you're still mabok coz the trance there is fucking aweeesssssommmmmeee~ shiok!

atlantis @ textile centre is huuge.. they have more variety in their performances, there's a guy who performs like michael jackson, pretty impressive! and i think the drinks there are cheaper..

might be going neverland tonight, haven't been there.. can't get enough of thai discos!

green day concert was so awesome!!!!!!

been a huge fan since secondary school (especially their nimrod album) and when they were finally here in singapore, i HAD to go!! green day and p!nk are 2 concerts i'd travel (overseas) for so it was fuckin' cool green day were here.

they played most of their songs for about 2.5 hours. picked people up to the stage, got them to sing and used toilet paper, water and t-shirt blasters into the crowd.. and billie mooned! but i missed it... arghhh.. so surreal, was crying when they came on. i practically grew up to their songs la and to finally watch them live.. kinda overwhelming.

was on my way home from work when sue suggested monday drinks(!!!). called kim immediately to plan where n was googling "bars in toa payoh" since sue n lav stays the area and it's near my work place. of course, there isn't any bars in toa payoh (what was I thinking?) .....but there are many in thomson!!!!

sat myself in ming's pub where a few ah peks were playing pool. quite amusing. what led me there was their drinks on promo- 6btls of heineken for $35~ score!

kim, sue, lav, tza n shar came soon after and it was a really awesome time catching up with the girls I grew up with, since primary school!!

and the black label was selling for $113! that's damn cheap la. ming's pub rocks man.. the service there was impeccable too, definitely going back there again!

met me little bro for drinks on friday night and he brought me to this karaoke place, on the second floor of a bar which needs some secret code to enter.

quite cool especially since can smoke inside and they have the latest songs in original videos, not those kind taken at east coast park. almost lost my voice screaming to all the linkin park songs.

there were 5 of us and within the 2 hours I was there, we had 4 bottles of Martell. madness.. royce can reaaaally drink man.

he doesn't smoke but I guess he was high and wanted a puff.. drinking and smoking just goes well together la..

past midnight, I was woo~ing my way to zouk with s and j. had more drinks and danced the night away. it was quite a blur. met some friends, made new ones n went home.

sat was spent watching heroes (finished volume four!!), went to cuscaden at chijmes for some beer, headed to butter but the vip queue was taking toooo long so we left for zouk.

slept in the whole sunday, woke up to watch some movies and was too lazy to eat. m so fucking hungry now!!!!

celebrated shaaz's birthday at siglap last night. thinking it was a chill out night, i came in shorts but we ended up at ratchada, a thai disco at heeren after 1 1/2 btls of macallan.

christmas eve at chanel's

we went to a fashion show event held in a penthouse of the sail, at marina boulevard. place was awesome.. it was huuge, had a pool at the rooftop and an AMAZING VIEW! it apparently costs 15 million dollars for that apartment and the owner apparently has another unit at the other side of the sail and in sentosa. rich or whaaaaat..

bought a 32" LG tv as a christmas present to myself. it originally costs $1099 but i got it for $450 from audiohouse during their sale.. yes ah!! the dvd player and speakers were presents from my dearest friends.. i'm really lucky. my partner at work/ in crime silver got me the speakers for christmas. sucha thoughtful gift right?!!

it took me awhile to set it up, poking the cables into different holes till i get the visuals and audio. think i'm quite good now. if u need help setting up, call me!

lunch at chad's on christmas day!

there was a buffet spread of nasi padang stuff like asam pedas, sambal prawns, curry, rendang, satay, fried chicken.. eat until damn shiok sia! the guys were hangover-ed from last night at krish and chad's dad was advising them to have some beers to feel better.. we obliged and out of respect, we were drinking again in the afternoon.

christmas. a time spent with loved ones~

we had christmas lunch in the office, along the corridor and ordered 3 giant pizzas (21 inches for $45 each), 4 pastas and some side dishes from pepperonis at greenwood. it was damn shiok la. i super like diavola, the pepperoni pizza just that it's damn oily. hawaii pizza was ok (not a fan of pineapples la) and the frutti di mare pizza was alright, just slightly fishy. think it'll be better as pasta.

for pastas we had aglio olio (shiok!), carbonara (don't like cream base), funghi & pollo (not bad!) and bolognese (yeaaah!) and we ordered some side dishes too like calamari and chicken wings. there was sooo much food, we kinda over-ordered la haha and there were wines, vodkas and beers too. am quite sure i gained 2 kgs just from that night.

we were at liquid kitchen before that for some drinks and i must complain, service there sucks!! ordered erdinger and it came with a lot of foam which was spilling and it poured onto the table (quite obviously) so i asked for tissue and the waiter returned with them in a rock glass and just walked away!!! OK NEVERMIND. so i wiped the whole table and used up all the tissues and the waiter came back... to take the rock glass away, leaving the soiled tissues and coaster on the table. bad bad bad... somemore quite ex. overeasy is $16 for 2 during happy hour, liquid kitchen's $26 for 2!

and we also found out that we can't park at longhouse unless we are eating there. like wtf, it's a public carpark right? we wanted to have dinner there anyway but some lady somehow tracked us and said we can't park there coz its private property. what nonsense! so we ate at fatboys instead.. that serves BETTER FOOD anyway! what's up with the thomson area man..

met up with shar n tza after that for more drinks but i left early coz i had a major headache.. like super fuckin' MAJOR. was dehydrated.. we were drinking from 12pm - 2am. a little advice, always have a glass of water in between your drinks. don't wait till you're already dehydrated, you will feel like shit..

lucky next day no work so i downed a bottle of water and popped 2 panadols before bed and slept the day away. went to a chrismas party at chanel&deidre's place at night but left my camera there and have yet to get it.. maybe i'll upload the other pics from my phone first- at chad's place for xmas lunch, at chelle's for the elites xmas gathering and tim's place for his birthday.

i've only known them recently through C, as edward is his 'bro' after going through NS together in ARMOUR (i have to caps the word coz they're very proud to be in it). anyway, i've only hung out with them a few times but they are sucha sweet couple and am very very happy for them. they've been together about 4 years.. kinda look alike too!

it was a small ceremony held at limon, a thai spanish restaurant at seah street.

food was alright la, not a fan.

had a few hours to spare before the lenka showcase at zirca and decided to cut my hair short. suuuper short like p!nk and even contemplated dying it blond. my hair was growing out and it was messy, ugly and damaged. i swore never to cut it short again since the last time it turned out disastrous but FUCKIT, i wanted to do something different............

C brought me to his hairstylist Addees at far east plaza, level 5. shop name's Quote. he goes there for all his haircuts and Addees never disappoints. and i'm glad i did coz it turned out pretty well! was damn scared at first la coz i have a big round face and short hair makes ur face look bigger but Addees knew what she was doing and TA-DA!

still getting used to it.. need to blow dry or the ends will stick out so i spend more time preparing for work. need to wake up earlier..! am thinking of dying a strip of blonde.. hmmmm..

almost didn't make it la. was kinda hangover-ed and super tired from work in the afternoon. sooo tempted to just sleep in but i persevered. free flow from 8-10pm! who in the right mind would miss that? it would be unacceptable!

another plus was that the portable toilets behind the media tent were still unused and smelled nice (SCORE!).

it is soooo beautiful~ i have a thing for bags and this is exactly what I wanted to bring out for weddings/ events. it is in the perfect size too! so I can bring my makeup, camera, phone, cigs, wallet etc etc etc.. love it!!! <3

it's from my dearest colleagues, they're the best! I'm usually the one planning their birthday surprise (I'm how planner) so it's good to know they appreciate what i do n gave a little more than the usual..

had bak kut teh with don, soo & co. at founders bkt just opposite balestier plaza, (near the overhead bridge) and it has to be the best one ever!!! sure, there are other good ones at river valley and balestier but this is seriously the best!! the meat so tender, the soup so tastyyy~!! craving for it now already..

dinner for 2 apparently costs $200 and a private capsule costs $1500. food was great- I had cod but the beef cheeks were really good!

winner is 40year old mohamed anuar, and he very much deserves it. nice guy, always greet you with a smile and hello.. was hoping he'd win too! his time is 77hrs 43mins, didn't break last years record but it really is an amazing feat, beating 399 other hopefuls.

btw, thanks to those who msged regarding my last entry. I guess it was a bad week and I couldn't manage the stress well. didn't have enough sleep and there were so many things going on. am really thankful to those who showed their concern, esp colleagues who said not to be bothered by people who are unimportant to the company. how true..

ive learnt that u can't please everyone.. why bother with people who are meaningless to you?

felt nauseous, went to puke n it just kept going. everything I ate or drink went back out. it tasted absolutely disgusting.. ugh.

took a rest in the office hoping it'd go away in a while but was chased home.

doc said it's gastritis (something to do with the stomach lining), gave me some med (that was absolutely awful- had to b the most bitter shit ever!) n I feel slightly better now.

I'm gonna bring the med to work tmr n let my colleagues try. I kid u not, it is by far the worst medicine I've ever had. E tastes sweet in comparison.

anyway, the boy's mum cooked curry for us today. I love her curry! super shiok. suggested the boy to learn from his mum and she said "you should learn from me, not caesar!"

i think i'm still high.

was at attica last night for a site recce after watching love happens (pretty good btw, jennifer aniston is hot!.. but i prefer angelina jolie).

they offered us some drinks (how to say no right? it's not polite!) and handed us some drink coupons (score!).

after some beers, champagnes n whisky drys, i was quite mabok n grooving to every song. almost banged the gents toilet when 'low' from flo rida came on to hurry the boy out.

i haven't clubbed in a while ok?

alot of ang mohs though. there were a couple cute ones dancing ard us n i introed them to linda n silver but the girls weren't interested! the guy even started a conversation but was totally brushed off.. WHY MAN?!

ok la, maybe he was a little short but quite cute what..

lunch was at hacienda cafe today with my dearest colleagues. a must have- the peanut butter jelly milkshake!

the eggs benedict were alright, it somehow was alot more awesome the first time I had it, abt 2 years ago.

anyway, m meeting tza n hwenz in a bit for some martinis n mini burgers at stereolounge.. it's hwen's first day at work!!!! n it's also free lychee/watermelon martinis for us ladies on weekdays.

hahah fat basterd is the name of this burger.. it's pretty good! comes with double patty, double bacon, egg n their homemade bbq sauce. available at FATBOYS, upper thomson rd, next to liquid kitchen. nice place to chillout too!

but i still think the best burger in sg is the SUNSHINE BURGER! a must try!!

i used to b such a huge fan in pri sch n memorized all their songs.. cld prob still do the rap in 'get down' hahaa esp liked nick carter.. he was the cutest!

but nick was arrogant, didn't seem bothered to b there.. AJ's hot, howie's good looking, brian's cute and nick just plain sucks!

their new album is still very boy bandish though. at this age, not something I'd listen to.

but it was great to see the 987fm winner really excited to meet the boys, she even came dressed up as the 5th member n performed for them. :)
